I’m not much of a sports fan.

In fact, I know very little about baseball.

But I do know that this documentary and the story of the Portland Mavericks is captivating to watch whether you like baseball or not.

This month’s dharma movie pick tells the story of Bing Russell (Kurt Russell’s Dad) and his dream of bringing an independent, minor league, single A baseball club to the Northwest.
