2025 Spring Schedule Changes
Spring is a time of new beginnings, new growth, and change. Whether it is the weather moving back and forth between feeling like the tail end of winter or the first hints of summer, or plants beginning to peek up from the soil with fresh, green growth, or shifts in the sunlight as we move into Daylight Savings Time, spring brings change.
Our class schedule for evening classes is going through some changes too, reflecting the growth our students are showing as they deepen their Asana skills and knowledge of Yoga. If you haven’t checked out our evening schedule lately, take a look at the calendar and see if a class is calling to you.

MONDAYS AT 6 PM: FLOW MOTION MONDAY
Flow Motion Monday is light-hearted in more ways than one. Building on Classical Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) and other flows, Flow Motion Monday is for the intermediate student looking to explore more flowing movement within the context of alignment-oriented yoga. Informal and community-oriented, this Monday night class incorporates strength work, inversions, and generally ends with a little time hanging on the Great Yoga Wall. A compassionately challenging, efficient, and engaging practice. Work out. Work in. Work together.
TUESDAYS AT 6 PM: PURNA YOGA BASICS
Whitney and Letitia team-teach this class perfectly suited for beginners looking to start their practice or students who want to get back to the basics. Learn the fundamentals, proper alignment, and safety considerations of Purna Yoga. Get the tools you need to become both stronger and more flexible, less anxious, and more in tune with your mind, body, and spirit.
WEDNESDAYS AT 6 PM: FORM & FUNCTION
Wednesday night’s class has been working a Purna Yoga Basics groove for a while now with a consistent group of students ready to level up to the stage in their Asana practice. Now that it’s a Form & Function class, we’re adding in more transitions into Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations), working with more subtle instructions, and adding more inversions to our studies. Still good for all levels, but more challenging than the Basics class with a stronger emphasis on cultivating great discernment and awareness in one’s practice.
THURSDAYS AT 6 PM: STRENGTH & STAMINA 1
Just as the Wednesday night students were ready for the next step, our Thursday night group has been working towards more Strength & Stamina-level practice, so now the change to Strength & Stamina 1 is official. What’s the difference between Form & Function and Strength & Stamina? Strength & Stamina incorporates more Sanskrit terms into instructions and focuses on more subtle cues and fewer ones, so that students can focus more on their inner voice and awareness while moving more into the subtle body. Poses might be held longer and flows might move more quickly. Students are expected to have a sense of the basic Purna Yoga series (Morning, Hip Opening, Surya Namaskar) so the practice can unfold on a more subtle level.
