Roll & Release is a down-regulating, self-massage, self-myofascial release class. What makes Roll & Release different from other restorative practices? Roll & Release uses Yoga Tune-up balls for targeted muscle work, while restorative yoga is a passive practice of deep relaxation using props to support the body completely. Yoga Tune Up is a form of corrective exercise that uses the balls to pinpoint and release tension that we carry in the body (sometimes without even realizing it!), while restorative yoga focuses on eliciting a deep relaxation response by eliminating any physical sensation of effort or discomfort.

We’ll take a different focus each month in 2026. April’s topic, Low Back Love, will focus on the lower back and adjacent areas, including the muscles of the abdomen and hips. We’ll explore how to cultivate greater awareness and connection with these areas, and how to let that awareness inform how we move everyday.

Regina has been practicing yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2011. She aims to create a supportive and safe environment for all students, so that each may honor their own body during practice.

This is an in-person class and is limited to 18 participants.
