Roll & Release is a down-regulating, self-massage, self-myofascial release class. What makes Roll & Release different from other restorative practices? Roll & Release uses Yoga Tune-up balls for targeted muscle work, while restorative yoga is a passive practice of deep relaxation using props to support the body completely. Yoga Tune Up is a form of corrective exercise that uses the balls to pinpoint and release tension that we carry in the body (sometimes without even realizing it!), while restorative yoga focuses on eliciting a deep relaxation response by eliminating any physical sensation of effort or discomfort.

We’ll take a different focus each month in 2026.

July’s class will focus on the rib cage. Many of us live in a constant state of sympathetic dominance, with a go-go-go state of mind — and the muscle tension to match. We’ll use this time to explore the rib cage and gently clear any restrictions we find, giving the body space to settle, down-regulate, and move into recovery mode.

Regina has been practicing yoga since 1999 and teaching since 2011. She aims to create a supportive and safe environment for all students, so that each may honor their own body during practice.

This is an in-person class and is limited to 18 participants.
